Privacy notice: Phrasu waitlist

Who we are
This waitlist is run by Phrasu. We are the data controller for the information you give us on this page. Contact: phrasulang@gmail.com.
What we collect, and why

We don't collect lesson recordings on this page. The app isn't available yet. When it is, it will have its own privacy notice covering recordings: lesson audio used only to make your cards, deleted after processing, and never used to train AI models.
Who processes it for us

Each sign-up also records which language tab and page version you saw, and the link that brought you here (for example a "utm" tag or the referring site), so we can tell which places our visitors come from.
Some of this data leaves the UK/EU: Web3Forms is based in India and its spam checks run in the US. Those transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, under Web3Forms' Data Processing Agreement. Web3Forms keeps submissions for up to three years unless we delete them sooner; we delete them on the schedule below.
We don't sell your data or share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist answers until Phrasu launches and we've emailed you about it, or for 12 months if it hasn't launched by then, whichever comes first. Then we delete them. If you unsubscribe, we delete your email within 30 days.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe: use the link in any email, or email phrasulang@gmail.com.
- Delete your data: email us and we'll remove your sign-up.
- You can also ask to see, correct or export what we hold, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
- If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority, for example the ICO (UK), CNIL (France), AEPD (Spain) or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be emailed to waitlist members.
